BIOGRAPHY

Mirza Alibegović (Corvallis, 25 September 1992) is an Italian basketball player with US citizenship, who plays as a guard or small forward.
Son of Teoman Alibegović and older brother of Amar and Denis, themselves basketball players.

Carrer
In the 2011-12 season he played in the Italian Serie A with Scavolini Pesaro. 

At the beginning of the 2012-13 season he was hired by Pistoia where he began to acquire more and more space in coach Moretti’s playing time.
On February 26th he signed an agreement with New Basket Brindisi, playing in the top Italian league, where however he would find little space.
On 10 September 2013 he signed for Pallacanestro Mantovana in DNA Silver.

In September 2014 he was signed by Basket Brescia Leonessa. Where on 24 June 2016 he won promotion to Serie A with Brescia.

On the following 6 July his engagement in the Auxilium Turin was announced. On 11 August 2017 he was signed by Orlandina Basket. On 21 February 2018 he terminated his contract with the Sicilian club to move to Derthona Basket, a Legadue club where he signed a contract valid until June 2020.

On 4 July 2019 he returned to the Turin after two years, signing for Basket Torino in Serie A2.
The following August, he was appointed the new captain of the team by the yellow-blue club.

He leaves the club after three seasons, signing a two-year contract with Vanoli Cremona on 9 July 2022 where he won the Super Cup, the Italian Cup and the Serie A2 Championship, thus achieving promotion to Serie A.

In 2023 he signed for Apu Udine in Serie A2
