Jovanovic is a 201 cm power forward born in 2000, of Serbian origin and Italian basketball formation, Petar played last season for Lissone Interni Brianza Casa Basket in Serie B.
Born in Belgrade on March 25, Petar began playing basketball when he moved with his family to Piacenza, where he lives. Up until 14 years old he played for the then Piacenza Basket Club which later became Assigeco, then he moved to Vanoli Cremona where he completed his entire youth career. He moved to A2 in Orzinuovi in 2019/2020 and then returned to Piacenza where he joined the first team in A2. He ends the season in Serie B in Fiorenzuola and then wears the Brianza shirt where, as time passes, he gains more and more space. Petar is an economics student.
Petar trained individually with Coach Teo Alibegovic and his staff during the Lignano Sabbiadoro camp in August 2023.
